Will Ospreay Wins International Championship At AEW Double Or Nothing

Will Opsreay Hits Back At Triple H's Comments On AEW Dynamite

Will Ospreay is now a champion in AEW.

Victorious at the AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view, Ospreay defeated Roderick Strong in the opening match of the main card to win the International Championship, his first title reign since officially joining AEW shortly before the Revolution pay-per-view back in March.

With The Undisputed Kingdom accompanying Strong to the ring, interference was expected. Matt Tavern and Mike Bennet distracted the referee at one point to allow Wardlow to sneak in and try to attack Ospreay but was caught by the referee. With all 3 men ejected, the match became a true one-on-one contest. Thanks to the encouragement of Don Callis, Ospreay hit the Hidden Blade and the Stormbreaker to win the match and the championship.

Major Return Following Will Ospreay Championship Win

After the match, Ospreay celebrated and made his way to the back. Instead of the next match taking place, the music of Adam Cole hit to the surprise of the Las Vegas crowd. As Cole berated the crowd and said that he should been recovering from his injury, the lights went out and a video played on the big screen, signalling the return of MJF. The video ended and MJF did make his shock return, taking out Cole in the process.
