No other participants for the Ultimate X match have been announced at this time.
TNA Signature Match Returning For Slammiversary 2026
The Ultimate X match sees 2 cables crossing to form an X 15 feet above the ring. The championship in placed in the middle of the X, and contenders need to climb metal support beams to get to the cables. Similar to a ladder match, whoever is able to retrieve the championship first is the winner. While most matches have been for the title, a giant X has also been contested for in the past, granting the winner a future title opportunity.
The first iteration of the match took place in 2003, which saw Michael Shane defeat Chris Sabin and Frankie Kazarian. Featuring big moves and high-risk, the stipulation became a firm fan favourite during TNA’s golden years. There have been 54 Ultimate X matches in TNA.
