Trish Stratus Outlines Terms For Possible WWE Comeback

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has once again been asked about the possibility of having one more match.

Still regarded as one of the greatest women’s wrestlers in the history of the industry and an inspiration for countless wrestlers of today, Stratus last competed at Evolution 2 in 2025, losing to Tiffany Stratton at the all-women’s Premium Live Event.

With Stratus yet to confirm that she is truly retired from in-ring competition and still able to compete at a high standard, many are hoping to see the former Women’s Champion back in the ring at least one more time.

Trish Stratus Wants To Make Sure WWE Landscape Makes Sense Before Returning

Ahead of her appearance at WWE World as part of WrestleMania weekend, Stratus was asked by Rick Ucchino of SI’s The Takedown about the chances of another match. Stratus responded that the story and the landscape would need to make sense for her to make a comeback:

“I need to see the landscape. I’m very storyline driven, and for me, is it gonna be interesting for the fans? Is it something they wanna see? Is it gonna elevate someone? Of course, there’s like the storyline behind it. I love the story, I wanna make sure it makes sense and I wanna make sure the landscape makes sense for me to enter into.”

2025 marked 25 years since Stratus made her WWE debut. The Hall of Famer celebrated the achievement by entering the Women’s Royal Rumble match that year in the number 25 spot. Stratus also teamed with Stratton at Elimination Chamber that year to pick up a win over Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.
