Multiple members of the TNA roster have reportedly expressed frustration over the lack of improvement since the company moved to AMC.
At the start of 2026, TNA Wrestling marked a new era in programming when it debuted on the network. With the company on the rise following the talent exchange with WWE, and now on a major network, there was optimism that 2026 could be a landmark year for the promotion. However, the debut show only had 3 matches throughout the 2 hour broadcast. Additionally, critics found the show to be a struggle to get to, noting that TNA did not do enough to hook in new viewers with the end result.
The latest TNA update came over the weekend when Steve Maclin and Myla Grace both left the company. In a follow-up report by Corey Brennan of Fightful Select, Maclin had been outspoken regarding his frustrations creatively. The report notes that Maclin was among a number of talents who believed that things hadn’t improved since the move more than 6 months ago.
TNA Also Frustrated With Pay Following AMC Move
The report also speaks about the pay scale of TNA wrestlers following the move. It is noted that many of the wretlers are not on full-time deals. Additionally, many of the deals are still short-term, even though the company is now a part of AMC. This includes World Champion Mike Santana, whose contract is set to expire next month. There have been previous reports that TNA are interested in Santana, who has made multiple appearances on NXT TV in the past.
