The Rock Hits Back At "Cody Cry Babies" With Hilarious Promo

The Rock took no prisoners when responding to toxic WWE fans.

On February 2nd, The Rock made his return to WWE once more, making good on his promise from New Years Day and confronting Roman Reigns. Although many were excited at the prospect of a dream match, the circumstances offended some. Prior to The Great One making his grand entrance, Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes declared that he wouldn’t face Reigns at Mania, effectively giving up his spot to the Hollywood star.

Over the next few days, fans would launch a tirade of abuse at The People’s Champion on social media, making it clear that they wanted Cody Rhodes in the main event and not The Great One. While Rock respects the passion of most fans, he has no time for the toxic fans who moan online.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Rock took to task the “Cody Cry Babies” and cut a promo on the internet fans:

I love Cody, I love his passionate fans, then there’s the other passionate fans of Cody, and they’re called the Cody crybabies. The Cody crybabies. These are grown ass men ‘Cody’s gotta finish his story!’ It’s like, wait a second, Hey dad, you wanna go outside and play catch with me?’ ‘Not now, Cody’s gotta finish his story! And I’m upset! The wife comes in, ‘hey honey do you wanna go have sex?’ ‘Not now, Cody’s got to finish his story!’

At the end of the day look, you’ve got the Cody crybabies, you have the Cody fans, and then you have Cody himself, and there’s a clear distinction between the three. But The Rock says this, those Cody crybabies, the ones for every ten tweets they’re shoving a Chicken McNugget in their mouth. For every twenty tweets they’re shoving two McNuggets up their ass. The Rock says this, all you’ve got to do is sit back, know your role, shut your mouth and enjoy the ride that The Rock is gonna take your candy asses on. So hashtag that. Hashtag shut your bitch asses up. Hashtag Cody crybabies!”

The Rock Prepares For Epic Face-Off

The People’s Champion will appear in front of WWE fans in Las Vegas on February 8th. Headlined by Rock and Reigns going face to face once more, the press conference will also continue the build to WrestleMania and see Cody Rhodes make his WrestleMania decision.
