Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee, previously known as The IIconics in WWE, will be reuniting once more as they are set for their first tag team match in 3 years.
McKay and Lee will team up as part of Prestige Wrestling’s Nothing To Lose event in Las Vegas on Thursday, April 17th, just a few days before WrestleMania 41 takes over the city. At the time of writing, it is unknown who the tag team will be facing at the event.
Lee and McKay last competed together in April 2022 for Impact Wrestling, where they unsuccessfully challenged The Influence for the Knockouts Tag Team Championships. Following their exit from the company, the former Tag Team Champions announced that they would be taking a break from wrestling. In the 3 years since, both McKay and Lee have become mothers.
While this will be McKay’s first match in 3 years, Lee competed in 6 matches for Australian promotion WSW in 2023.
Who Are The IIconics?
Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee are best known from their time in WWE as Billie Kay and Peyton Royce respectively. Known collectively as The IIconics, the duo became one of the most entertaining duos in the company. Originally a part of the NXT roster, Kay and Royce were called up to the main roster in 2018. The duo won the Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 35 in what was their only title reign in the company. Released in 2021, the former IIconics returned to wrestling later that year for Impact, where they also captured the Knockouts Tag Team Championships.
