While surprises are expected at the WWE Royal Rumble, one notable name will not be appearing.
As usual, the Royal Rumble will see returns, debuts and potential NXT call-ups as part of the 2 30-person matches. Although surprise entrants are nothing new, 2024 has the added possibility of entrants from the TNA roster due to the ongoing talent exchange between both sides. With Jordynne Grace making her shock debut for the company last year and fans fantasy booking the likes of Joe Hendry and The Hardys being a part of the match, the possibilities for this year feel more open than ever. However, according to a new report, one member of the roster will not be an entrant.
As reported on Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass podcast, WrestleVotes have stated that former TNA Champion Nic Nemeth, previously known as Dolph Ziggler, is not expected:
“And we asked a couple of people if they would be able to provide some talent names that will be in the house in Indianapolis Saturday, and we did get a couple of names back. I think you guys might be interested in the list. Some of these are out there. Some of these maybe not. We’ll see. However, we can say that. RVD, Rhino, JBL, Matt Cardona, Bubba Ray Dudley, Tommy Dreamer, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Ric Flair, Mark, Henry, both Hardy Boys, Mickey James, and Victoria are all slated to be in one way, shape, or form in Indianapolis this weekend centered around the Royal Rumble event. On the flip side, we did ask a source, and we were told now that he is no longer TNA World Champion, still do not expect Nic Nemeth obviously the former Dolph Ziggler, to be appearing in the Royal Rumble, regardless of a partnership between WWE and TNA.”
Who Is Expected In The WWE Royal Rumble?
