One of the most newsworthy and unpredictable events on the calendar each year, the WWE Royal Rumble will air live from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday, February 1st.
With the show never taking place in February before, hype for the event is at an all-time high with 2 stacked Rumbles, unpredictability and the anticipation of surprises as the Road to WrestleMania 41 officially begins. With 60 entrants needed to fill the 2 Rumbles and the possibility of NXT stars, legends and even those from TNA, the rumour mill has gone into overdrive as to who will be making an appearance in each of the respective matches. With this in mind, here is everything we know, the likely and the outside bets for this year’s event.

Will Jordynne Grace Appear In The Women’s Royal Rumble?
If you are looking to place a bet on a surprise entrant, Jordynne Grace is arguably the safest pick. Having left TNA after the Genesis Premium Live Event and reportedly now a member of the WWE roster as reported by Fightful Select, all signs point to Grace making her official arrival as a WWE Superstar in the match. Although Grace has since claimed on social media that she will not be in Indianapolis that weekend as she will be celebrating her mother’s birthday, many believe this to be a misdirect.
What About Joe Hendry?
Unlike Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry’s inclusion in the match is not as straightforward. Although the TNA World Champion is in town for WrestleCon and is not part of the Jericho Cruise until the day after, there have been no concrete reports confirming that he will be an entrant in the match. However, a previous report from PWInsider stated that a “Top TNA star” had been discussed for the match.
Will Becky Lynch Make Her Return?
Ever since the Raw on Netflix debut, fans have anticipated a Becky Lynch return and only feel that it is a matter of time before The Man comes around again. The latest on Lynch is that she is slated to be in town for the event, but there is nothing to say that she will be a part of the match. However, much like Grace, Lynch being an entrant in the match is highly likely.
NXT Surprises?
While legends were previously guaranteed to be factoring into the line-up, fans are now awaiting cameos from their favourite NXT stars to make their main roster debut in the match, which may also lead to their official call-up. While they have not been officially confirmed for the match, Lash Legend, Jaida Parker, Roxanne Perez and Stephanie Vaquer have all been spotted in Indianapolis.
Other Potential Entrants?
It has been previously reported that WWE are hopeful AJ Styles could return from injury by the time the event rolls around. Additionally, there is speculation that if contract talks are finalised then Alexa Bliss could make her return after more than 2 years away from the ring.
Two Names Won’t Be In The Match
Numerous names are of course being rumoured but unfortunately, due to suffering injuries in the past couple of weeks, Raw’s Dakota Kai and JD McDonagh will not be a part of the match. We would like to wish them a full and speedy recovery.
One TNA Star Won’t Be In The Royal Rumble
While many TNA stars could make an appearance due to the ongoing partnership, former TNA and WWE World Champion Nic Nemeth [FKA Dolph Ziggler] will not be appearing in the match.
