Roman Reigns Off WWE TV Until Further Notice

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is not expected to return to WWE anytime soon.

Last seen in the main event of WrestleMania 40, Reigns saw his 1,316-day reign as Undisputed Champion come to an end as he was defeated by Cody Rhodes in the Bloodline Rules match on night 2. Although Rhodes’ path now looks clearer as he is set to defend the title against the winner of AJ Styles and LA Knight at Backlash on May 4th, it is still unknown what the future holds for The Tribal Chief. According to a new report, no one knows when Reigns will return.

As reported by WrestleVotes, Reigns will be absent from TV for an extended period of time and his return date is up in the air. However, while absent from TV Reigns is helping to progress the Bloodline storyline:

I’m told that although Roman Reigns will be off TV for an indefinite period of time, he will still have substantial creative input in the evolving Bloodline storyline over the course of the next few months.

Roman Reigns Absent From Major Bloodline Development

On the SmackDown after WrestleMania on March 12th, the multiple Bloodline losses were addressed. With Solo Sikoa declaring that there needed to be consequences for what happened at WrestleMania, The Enforcer turned his attention to Jimmy Uso, who was beaten down by Sikoa and a debuting Tama Tonga.
