Ricochet has made it clear that he is not finished with International Champion Konosuke Takeshita.
On October 20th, Maple Leaf Pro presented the second night of its inaugural event Forged in Excellence. The main event saw Takeshita put the title on the line against TNA’s Josh Alexander. After retaining the title, Takeshita and Don Callis bragged about the victory before continuing the beatdown on Alexander, leading to Ricochet making the save. Attacking Takeshita, the high-flyer shook hands with Alexander to close out the show.
The attack follows on from what took place at AEW WrestleDream, which saw Takeshita defeat Will Ospreay and Ricochet to become the new International Champion thanks to interference from Kyle Fletcher.
