Ricochet is officially All Elite and made his AEW debut in the biggest possible way.
Entering the Casino Gauntlet match, the former WWE star made his first appearance for the promotion in front of more than 50,000 people inside Wembley Stadium in London and received a rapturous ovation in the process.
Going right after Adam Page, the high-flyer showed the world what he does best with a shooting star to the outside to clear the rest of the field.
Ricochet was one of many surprise entrants in the match which also included Nigel McGuinness, Zack Sabre Jr., Jeff Jarrett, Christian Cage and Kazuchika Okada. The match was won by Cage thanks to an assist from Killswitch, who was introduced as Luchasaurus.
Although the high-flyer’s first feud is still to be determined, everyone is waiting for the inevitable rematch between the former WWE star and Will Ospreay following on from their viral battle in NJPW.
Ricochet Is Finally All Elite
Following on from the former Intercontinental Champion being written off TV with a brutal attack by Bron Breakker, writing him off TV indefinitely, many believed that it would only be a matter of time before the high-flyer made his AEW debut after it was reported that he would not be signing a new deal and would instead be exploring free agency. Just as things went quiet on Ricochet potentially joining AEW, a new report broke a few days before All In confirming that he had signed a new deal and would be factored into the Wembley Stadium show.
