Ric Flair Issues New Statements Regarding Restaurant Incident In Florida

Ric Flair has given multiple interviews since the infamous restaurant incident occurred.

Ric Flair has taken part in multiple interviews following the series of events that took place in Gainesville, Florida over the weekend.

Venting his frustrations at Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza, Ric Flair blasted the restaurant on social media after spending $1,500 and having a disagreement with the kitchen manager. Following a response from the restaurant, footage of the incident emerged that saw Flair insult the staff and threaten to meet one of them outside. Flair also seemed inebriated in the video and was clearly not happy that he had been cut off.

Flair has given two follow-up interviews since. First speaking with The Gainesville Sun, The Nature Boy gave his side of the story and claimed that the incident in the bathroom was that he felt that the staff member was taking too long and he could see him texting:

“Any man that goes into a bathroom knows you can see into the stall,” Flair said. “I said, ‘Get your a– off there, I need to use the restroom.’ “

The staff member allegedly had no problem with the meeting but afterwards, Flair was confronted and was called a “peeping tom” and a “creep” by a separate member of staff, which Flair was offended by:

“I’m not going to tolerate that and you wouldn’t either,” he said of the employee’s comments. “… That’s a pretty offensive remark.”

I’ll be quite honest with you, I was pissed because I didn’t do anything wrong. It’s my word against the kitchen employee and it makes no sense,” Flair said Tuesday. “I admit to everything I said. I have no problem with it because I was mad.”

One portion of the video sees Flair offer a $1,000 tip to a staff member if she tells her boss “kiss my ass.” In the interview, Flair states that “he did tip $1,000 on about a $200 tab to a pair of bartenders who he said delivered great service.” Although the restaurant refused to take this, the co-owner of Piesanos did make sure that the staff were compensated out of their own pockets and praised the workers for how they handled the situation.

At the end of the interview, Flair also said that he was considering taking up a lawsuit with the restaurant chain.

Ric Flair Did Order From Piesanos

In a further interview on myq105, Flair admitted that he should not have lost his temper in the restaurant and that it was wrong for him to get upset:

I was wrong for losing my temper. When I feel like I’m put in that area where I’m uncomfortable and all of a sudden everything just fell apart, I got upset.

I was wrong for getting upset. I probably just should have just walked out the door, but it caught me so off-guard because we were having a wonderful time. Then all of a sudden … someone in their kitchen said I did something wrong in the bathroom and there’s no one there except me and him.

Also in the interview, Flair denies that he was drunk as he had “Michelob Ultras and “probably” two mixed drinks.” Flair also stated that he did order from the chain after the incident via Uber Eats despite having an issue with the restaurant in the beginning.
