Ric Flair has publicly vented his frustrations following a recent visit to a Gainesville pizza restaurant.
The Nature Boy was in the Florida city as he was attending a graduation with his family. Although the event was meant to be a positive experience, what happened at a branch of Piesanos has left the AEW star disrespected and upset.
Venting about his experience on social media, Flair revealed that he had spent more than $1,500 in the establishment but was asked to leave after there was an incident involving the kitchen manager:
I Spent $1500 At @PiesanosSFP To Be Disrespected More Than I Ever Have In My Entire Life. After Taking 20 Pictures With Customers And Staff, I Was Asked To Leave Because Of An Issue I Had With The Kitchen Manager Taking Too Long In The Bathroom. I Would Highly Recommend That Anyone Who Wants To Enjoy A Relaxing Time In Gainesville At A Nice Restaurant To Never Visit This Place! WOOOOO!
The visit has left some baffled as even with drinks it would be a struggle to spend that much in a pizza restaurant, despite Flair’s reputation for alcohol consumption and lavish lifestyle.
In a follow-up the next day, TikTok user bussines11.11 uploaded footage of Flair in the restaurant arguing with the staff. Due to the angle which the video is filmed, it appears that a staff member was the one filming the altercation.
In the video, an inebriated Flair claims that he did nothing wrong except spend money and “put the restaurant over.” Further arguing with staff, he refers to one as “Nicholas Dickhead” and offers another a $1,000 tip to tell him “kiss my ass” while angered that he has been cut off from consuming any more alcohol. The Nature Boy then threatens to speak to a staff member outside and “talk to him like a man”, to which a patron takes Flair up on the offer, which Flair conveniently ignores. The video stops shortly after.

Restaurant Responds To Ric Flair
Due to the nature of the story and the Hall of Famer being the one involved, the story has gained a lot of traction online with many users bombing Piesano’s Instagram page with comments about Flair’s negative experiences. When asked about what happened by The Gainesville Sun, Piesanos co-owner Jerry Roberts said the following:
“We have reviewed video of the incident that took place recently at our restaurant. It is clear, our team worked in a professional manner to ensure the safety of guests and staff. We have thanked our team for their professionalism. We are proud of how they responded to this situation using and displaying our team values.”
Although there are no plans to release the video to the public, here’s hoping that The Young Bucks can work their magic the same way they did for the All In footage.
Currently signed to AEW, Ric Flair responded to criticisms of his appearances back in December 2023.
