Rey Fenix WWE Debut Date Confirmed

Rey Fenix is on his way to WWE and it is only a matter of time before the former AEW star makes his highly anticipated debut on the main roster.

Rey Fenix will make his WWE debut imminently following weeks of build-up to promote the arrival of the former AEW star.

Over the past few weeks, vignettes have aired to signal the impending arrival of Fenix. While not named or shown on camera, fans quickly figured out it was the former International Champion by his trademark tattoos and mask. On the March 28th episode of SmackDown, the latest video package aired which ended with Fenix being shown on camera. Along with confirming that he will keep his AEW name, it was also announced that Fenix would make his official debut on the April 4th SmackDown.

Rey Fenix Officially A Part Of WWE

Back in the summer of 2024, it was reported that both Fenix and his brother Penta were looking to leave AEW and join WWE. However, following the reports, both were kept off TV and creative plans were changed for The Lucha Bros. While Penta was able to leave AEW when his contract expired, Fenix had injury time added on to his current deal. Fenix was removed from the roster page at the start of the month with multiple outlets confirming that he had left the company and was WWE bound.

It should also be noted that as Penta is currently on Raw the former Tag Team Champions are currently being kept on sperate brands.
