Randy Orton will be in action on the October 8th episode of WWE NXT.
Next month will mark a new era for the Tuesday night show as the brand will move from the USA Network and onto CW. Looking to start strong, the first 2 shows will go on the road and will feature some of the biggest names from the main roster. On October 1st, the premiere show will air live from Chicago and will see CM Punk referee the NXT Championship match along with appearances from Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair and The Miz.
One week later, the show will air live from St. Louis, Missouri, the hometown of Orton. As announced on the September 17th show, Orton will not only be appearing live but will also take part in a match against rising star Je’Von Evans. The show will also feature Axiom and Nathan Frazer defending the Tag Team Championships against A-Town Down Under and another appearance from Sexxy Red.

Like many top stars in WWE, Orton was approaching the end of his contract in 2024. Like many top stars in the past year, Randy Orton elected to sign a new contract and remain with the company until further notice. Closing in on 30 years on the main roster, Orton is one of the most tenured wrestlers in WWE history.
