With WWE Evolution on the horizon, Trish Stratus could be back on TV very soon!
As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the Hall of Famer has been spotted in Pittsburgh ahead of the June 30 Raw taping. It is also added that the former Women’s Champion is expected to appear on the broadcast, likely to set up a storyline for the upcoming all-women’s Premium Live Event on July 13. It was previously reported that creative discussions had taken place for Stratus to be a part of the show, provided that the Hall of Famer was open to the plans.
It is unknown what Stratus will be doing at Evolution, but plans have changed following the injury to Liv Morgan suffered on the June 16 episode of Raw.
It should also be noted that the July 4 SmackDown is also being taped directly after Raw, meaning that Stratus’ appearance could be on the blue brand. The former Women’s Champion last appeared at Elimination Chamber back in March, teaming with Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton to defeat Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. Back at Money in the Bank 2024, Stratton and Stratus met backstage, seemingly foreshadowing a future match between the two, which both women have stated they are open to in interviews.
Stratus was also a part of the 2018 Evolution event, teaming with fellow Hall of Famer Lita to defeat Mickie James and Alicia Fox.
Trish Stratus To Continue WWE Anniversary Tour
2025 marks 25 years since Stratus first appeared onscreen and made her in-ring debut. From there, Stratus went on to reign with the Women’s Championship 7 times and is regarded as one of the best women’s wrestlers in history.
