Paige has broken her silence following her shock return to WWE at WrestleMania 42.
The former Divas Champion was revealed to be the replacement for Nikki Bella in the Women’s Tag Team Championship match after it was revealed that the Hall of Famer was not cleared to compete. Teaming with Brie Bella, Paige picked up the win by pinning Alexa Bliss, and in the process, won a championship in her return match to the company.
The other teams in the match were now former champion Nia Jax and Lah Legend, Bayley and Lyra Valyria, and Charlotte Flair teaming with Alexa Bliss.
Although this was Paige’s first WWE match in 8 years, the British wrestler did have a stint in AEW from 2022 to 2025, where she captured the Women’s Championship once.
“WWE Is My Home”: Paige On WWE Return
Asked about her return on the WrestleMania night 1 post-show, Paige stated that the return was long overdue, adding that she was happy to team with The Bellas once more:
“It’s good to be home. About time. The feeling was bonkers. To be in the ring with these two, I’m Pale Bella. It’s not 2016 unless I’m home.”
When asked if returning to WWE was always the goal, the British wrestler responded that it was, stating that it was the promotion that made her a star:
“100%. WWE is my home. I was raised here. I’m a WWE girl forever.”
While not announced at the time of writing, it is expected that Paige will be making an appearance on the Raw after WrestleMania given her return and championship win.
