The title scene could be getting a lot more crowded very soon as another WWE Championship could be on the way!
Although fans are happy to see the women’s division recognised more with the recent introduction of the Women’s United States Championship held by Chelsea Green and the imminent arrival of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, there has been some criticism that there are now too many titles in the company. With more focus on championships as opposed to storylines, the creative could suffer as a result. While there are arguably too many championships already in circulation, a recent report has indicated that another one may be on the way.
As reported by WrestleVotes, a Tribal Chief Championship could be introduced soon to further the ongoing storyline between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, which has currently seen the Ula Falla as the top prize in the ongoing Bloodline civil war:
“Sources indicate WWE has discussed introducing a Tribal Chief Championship into the storyline between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, similar to the People’s Championship presented to The Rock at WrestleMania earlier this year.”
