Multiple TNA Wrestlers Now Free Agents

Numerous former TNA stars are now no longer under contract with the promotion and are free agents in the wrestling world.

Several wrestlers previously signed with TNA are no longer contracted to the promotion.

With January 1st signalling the start of a new year and the 1st of the month, multiple wrestlers’ contracts have now expired and are now free agents. Unlike releases, there is no non-compete clause attached, meaning that the stars in question are able to appear for any promotion as soon as they wish.

As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the most notable name on the list is “Speedball” Mike Bailey, who made his final appearance for the promotion by dropping the X-Division Championship to Moose on Impact. One of the most exciting stars today and with a critically acclaimed match against Konosuke Takeshita at Maple Leaf Pro’s Forged in Excellence event, it’s no surprise that Bailey is expected to join the AEW roster very soon.

Other names on the list include Steph DeLander, who is currently recovering from neck surgery along with Kushida, Aiden Prince, Bhupinder Gujjar, Jade Chung, and Trent Seven.

Top TNA Star Leaving The Company Imminently?

Having made multiple appearances in NXT throughout 2024, many are expecting to see former Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace in a WWE ring again, this time as a full-time member of the roster. Following a recent report also by Fightful Select, Grace’s contract is set to end on the weekend of TNA Genesis on January 19th, where the former Knockouts Champion is set to take on the returning Tessa Blanchard. If Grace does not re-sign with TNA, she will be a free agent in time for the 2025 Royal Rumble.
