More Matches Announced For WWE SummerSlam 2025

The WWE SummerSlam 2025 card is taking shape as 3 more matches have been added to the show.

The 3 match announcements came throughout the July 14 WWE Raw broadcast. In the opening segment, new Women’s World Champion Naomi appeared live to celebrate her victory before being interrupted by Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. Following a war of words, General Manager Adam Pearce announced that a triple threat match would take place at the show.

Later in the night, Lyra Valkyria defeated Bayley in a 2 out of 3 falls match, meaning that she will get another opportunity at Becky Lynch and the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. The final match made official came following the main event, which saw the next challenger for World Heavyweight Champion Gunther determined. The match was won by CM Punk, who will face The Ring General at SummerSlam next month.

Other matches already announced for the show include Cody Rhodes receiving his rematch against WWE Champion John Cena and Tiffany Stratton defending her WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill.

  • John Cena (c) vs. Cody Rhodes – Street fight for the Undisputed Championship
  • Gunther (c) vs. CM Punk – Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
  • Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Jade Cargill – Singles match for the WWE Women’s Championship
  • Naomi (c) vs. IYO SKY vs. Rhea Ripley – Triple threat match for the Women’s World Championship
  • Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria – No DQ match for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. If Valkyria loses she can’t challenge for the title again
  • Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. AJ Styles – SIngles match for the Intercontinental Championship
  • Randy Orton & Jelly Roll vs. Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul
  • Solo Sikoa (c) vs. Jacob Fatu – Steel cage match for the United States Championship
  • Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez (c) vs. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss – Tag team match for the Women’s Tag Team Championships

WWE SummerSlam will air live on August 2 and 3 on Peacock in the United States and on Netflix internationally.
