Later in the night, LA Knight defeated Shinsuke Nakamura and Aleister Black to book his place in the match. Over the next few weeks, more stars also secured their spot in the signature match that guarantees the winner a title shot at any time.

At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Cody Rhodes made his return to WWE and picked up right where he left off as he attacked John Cena to prevent the WWE Champion and Logan Paul from attacking Jey Uso. Rhodes issued the challenge for a tag team match where he and Uso would take on Paul and Cena, which was later made official.
