Mercedes Mone has added another championship to her collection following her latest match in AEW.
Competing at AEW WrestleDream on October 18, Mone defeated Mina Shirakawa in a winner take all match to become the new Interim ROH Women’s World TV Champion. The closing moments of the match saw Mone put Shirakawa in a backslide pin, using the ropes for extra leverage to get the win.
Prior to the pay-per-view, it was announced that Mone would be defending her TBS Championship in an open challenge against any current champion, which was answered by Shirakawa. This is also the second time that Mone has defeated Shirakawa for a championship in 2025, with the first being at Wrestle Dynasty back in January, where Mone beat Shirakawa to become the new RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Champion.
Although Mone now holds 11 championships, it appears that the TBS Champion is looking for one more title. Following the conclusion of the Women’s Championship between Kris Statlander and Toni Storm, which saw Statlander retain, Mone confronted the champion and demanded she leave the ring. After Mone’s match, Statlander returned and laid out the new ROH Women’s TV Champion.
