Mercedes Mone is set to make her RevPro return later in the year as she is among the first names announced for the Summer Sizzler event on July 25th.
The Undisputed British Women’s Champion’s next appearance was first announced when a video package played during the Revolution Rumble event on June 22nd. The video saw highlights of Mone’s last title defence before the graphic confirmed her upcoming appearance. On social media, it was also announced that BUSHI and Tetsuya Naito, collectively known as Los Tranquilos de Japon, will also be in action at the upcoming event.
Mone defeated Mina Shirakawa on January 5th at the first-ever Wrestle Dynasty event to capture the Undisputed British Women’s Championship. Still reigning as the TBS Champion in AEW, the CEO has also captured multiple championships that are in other promotions. Most recently, Mone defeated Zeuxis to win the CMLL World Women’s Championship. Mone successfully defended the title against La Catalina at CMLL Presenta NJPW Fantastica Mania Mexico. Mone’s opponent for Summer Sizzler has not been announced at the time of writing.
RevPro Summer Sizzler will take place at The Hangar in Wolverhampton on Friday, July 25th.
Mercedes Mone Returning To UK For Next RevPro Title Defence
Mercedes Mone made her first appearance for RevPro on April 20 as part of the High Stakes event. Competing in the main event, Mone defeated Kanji to retain the title. Looking to add yet another championship to her collection, Mone will challenge Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Championship at AEW All: In Texas on July 12th.
