WWE have begun the build to Elimination Chamber by announcing multiple matches for the event.
The final Premium Live Event before WrestleMania will take place live from Perth, Australia on February 24th. The start time for the show will be 5 am for fans on the East Coast of the USA and 10 am for fans in the UK.
As seen during the February 5th episode of WWE Raw, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa won a fatal 4-way match to advance to SmackDown. DIY will face off against Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne, with the winners challenging Finn Balor and Damian Priest for the Tag Team Championships at Elimination Chamber.
The first Chamber match has been announced, which will determine who will face Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania. At the time of writing, Becky Lynch is the only Superstar to qualify.
In regards to Ripley, The Eradicator will be in action in her native Australia. In one of her greatest challenges since becoming champion, Ripley will defend the title against Nia Jax at the event.
The Following Matches Have Been Announced For Elimination Chamber:
- Pre-Show: Asuka and Kairi Sane (c) vs. Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae – Tag Team match for the Women’s Tag Team Championships
- Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax – Singles match for the Women’s World Championship
- Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair vs. Liv Morgan vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Raquel Rodriguez – Elimination Chamber match to determine Rhea Ripley’s opponent for WrestleMania
- Finn Balor and Damian Priest (c) vs. Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne – Tag team match for the Undisputed Tag Team Championships.
- Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton vs. Bobby Lashley vs. LA Knight vs. Logan Paul vs. Kevin Owens – Elimination Chamber match to determine Seth Rollins’ opponent for WrestleMania.
- The Grayson Waller Effect with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins
