Mason Rook WWE In-Ring Debut Announced

Mason Rook will compete in his first WWE match on the next episode of NXT following an impactful debut.

On the May 12 episode of NXT, Rook appeared live to sign his WWE contract. Referencing his past career and the fact that John Cena has taken notice, Rook stated that he was not happy and that he wanted more. Declaring himself to be the best anyweight, Rook sent a warning to the roster before being interrupted by NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo. D’Angelo tried to respond to Rook, but was attacked by Kam Hendrix. Taking advantage of the chaos, Rook hit a moonsault to the outside to wipe out D’Angelo and security. Rook later signed his contract to make the debut official.

It was later confirmed that Rook would team with Kam Hendrix to take on NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo and North American Champion Myles Borne.

Rook has already left a lasting impression during his short time on the NXT roster. Attacking champion Tony D’Angelo in his debut, Rook went viral for his first appearance and impressive moonsault.
