PROGRESS Wrestling has confirmed that new World Champion Malakai Black will be in action at When September Ends.
The latest announcements from the UK promotion will see Black and his wife, Xelina, both set to compete at the next London show. Black defeated Cara Noir at the Manchester Odyssey tour show to win the title for the first time in his career. Xelina also made her PROGRESS debut on the show, picking up the win over Myla Grace. The tour will wrap up this weekend with shows in Bournemouth and Birmingham on September 12 and 13, respectively.
It has since been announced that Black’s opponent will be the man he defeated to win the PROGRESS Title, Cara Noir. Xelina’s opponent has not been announced at this time.
The announcement joins the already confirmed Proteus Championship match. Actor and wrestler Paul Walter Hauser will put the title on the line against Trent Seven. At Wrestling Over Everything, Seven called out Hauser, which was later confirmed by PROGRESS.
