Wrestling fans may not be able to catch the WWE X AAA Worlds Collide show when it happens, with rumours that the event may become available at a later date.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that the September 26 show is being viewed as a live event internally, as opposed to a major show. The show will be taking place in Chicago, with former WWE Champion CM Punk being rumoured to participate in the event. AEW All Out will also be taking place in the city over the same weekend.
Fightful also adds that if Worlds Collide is broadcast to the public, there is a chance it could be streamed on either YouTube or Club WWE. WWE recently put Stephanie Vaquer’s house show win on the paid Club WWE service instead of YouTube. The announcement generated fan backlash, as this would be another paid service that fans would have to subscribe to. A subscription to Club WWE currently costs $100 per year. In the US, this would add to Netflix, ESPN and premium cable to watch WWE content.

While the official card has not been announced, the venue is advertising the following matches locally:
- CM Punk, Rey Mysterio & El Grande Americano vs. Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh & Omos
- Penta & Rey Fenix vs. Perros del Mal
- Las Toxicas vs. Fatal Influence
- Dragon Lee vs. Jack Cartwheel
- AAA Reina de Reinas Champion La Catalina defends against Roxanne Perez
