A huge title match and more have been announced for the September 26 edition of WWE SmackDown.
Following Nia Jax attacking Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and challenger Jade Cargill on the September 12 episode, The Irresistible Force came out to gloat the following week. After Cargill and Stratton interrupted, General Manager Nick Aldis announced that a championship match would take place the following week. While this match was rumoured to take place at Wrestlepalooza, it has been moved to the fallout SmackDown instead.
The other match announced will see Women’s United States Champion Giulia team up with Kiana James to take on Michin and B-Fab, who have both had their issues with the champ and James over the past few weeks.
With this also being the first episode of SmackDown following Wrestlepalooza, expect the fallout from the Premium Live Event to be addressed on the show. The main event of Wrestlepalooza will see WWE Champion Cody Rhodes put the title on the line against Drew McIntyre.
