Another match could be added to the WWE Wrestlepalooza card just over 24 hours before the historic event.
As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, a sixth match has been in discussion for the Premium Live Event, which would see Tiffany Stratton put her WWE Women’s Championship on the line against both Nia Jax and Jade Cargill in a triple threat match. Fightful also adds that the rumours of the match strengethened when fans noticed the match beng included on official merch for the event, but any possibility of it being made official would be dependent on Stratton’s status, as she was declared unable to compete at the NXT Homecoming special on September 16.
On the September 12 episode of SmackDown, Stratton put her title on the line against Cargill. The match ended in a double countout when both women failed to answer the referee’s count. After the match, Nia Jax attacked both women to stand tall. If the match is made official, it will be on the go-home SmackDown on September 19.
