Shinsuke Nakamura in action and more have been announced for the May 22 edition of WWE SmackDown.
On the May 15 SmackDown, Solo Sikoa told Tama Tonga to take out Damian Priest. As he and Talla Tonga walked away, Shinsuke Nakamura entered and tried to talk to Tama Tonga, but was jumped by Talla. Nakamura was then chokeslammed onto a cargo crate. It was later announced that Talla Tonga vs. Nakamura would be taking place on the next episode of SmackDown.
As this will also be the final episode of SmackDown before the next WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event special, this will be the main focus of the show. Currently, the announced card for the special is as follows:
- Penta (c) vs. Ethan Page – Singles match for the Intercontinental Championship
- The Vision [Austin Theory and Logan Paul] (c) vs. The Street Profits [Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins] – Tag team match for the World Tag Team Championships
- Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss vs. Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab
