New Japan stars will be in action and more on the June 24 AEW Dynamite, which will be the final show before Forbidden Door.
With the crossover pay-per-view set for June 28, multiple NJPW stars have made the trip over to the States ahead of the show. With Zack Sabre Jr. set to take on Kenny Omega at Forbidden Door, the British star will compete on the show against one of Omega’s allies, Jack Perry. Omega and Sabre Jr. had a confrontation the previous week, but neither man got physical. The Young Bucks will take on the other members of TMDK, Mikey Nicholls and Bad Dude Tito.
Will Ospreay will also make his return to the ring on Dynamite. Before the match with Swerve Strickland at Forbidden Door, which will also be the Owen Hart Cup finals, Ospreay will take on ELP.
Two women’s matches have also been announced to determine who will qualify for the Survival of the Fittest match. The winner of that match will be crowned the new TBS Champion after Willow Nightingale vacated the title due to injury.
