Line-Up Announced For July 10 WWE SmackDown

United States Champion Trick Williams will be in action on the July 10 edition of WWE SmackDown.

At Night of Champions, Williams successfully defended the title against Ricky Saints in Saudi Arabia. Appearing on the July 3 SmackDown, Williams was interrupted by Carmelo Hayes. Hayes demanded a title match against Williams, but Lil Yachty said that opportunities need to be earned. It was then announced that Williams would face Hayes next week, but the title will not be on the line. If Hayes wins, it is likely that he will receive a US Championship match down the road.

As two matches are now official for the next Saturday Night’s Main Event special on July 18, it is also possible that more matches will be announced for the special.

This will also mark SmackDown returning to a live broadcast after the previous 2 episodes were pre-taped ahead of time. The June 26 SmackDown was pre-taped to allow the roster time to travel to Saudi Arabia for Night of Champions. The July 3 SmackDown was pre-taped to give the roster time off for the July 4 weekend.
