The new Undisputed Champion to appear live and more has been announced for the August 8 WWE SmackDown.
The main event of SummerSlam night 2 saw Cody Rhodes defeat John Cena in a street fight to win back the Undisputed Championship. Continuing the fallout from the show, The American Nightmare will appear live on SmackDown to address his victory and what’s next for him now that he is once again the top star on the blue brand.
Additionally, John Cena will appear live in what will be the latest stop on his retirement tour. Now that Cena is no longer the WWE Champion, the Hollywood star will address what is next for him as the farewell tour begins to wind down. It should be noted that a returning Brock Lesnar attacked Cena to close out SummerSlam, which is likely to be addressed on the show.
While not announced, it is likely that more matches for Clash in Paris on August 31 will be announced given that the show is only a couple of weeks away.
