A title match and more is set to take place on the August 19 edition of AEW Dynamite.
On the August 12 edition of Dynamite, Kris Statlander picked up a win over Viva Van. After the match, Mick Foley interviewed Statlander and announced that a TBS Championship match would take place next week. Statlander, Persephone and Hikaru Shida will all challenge Maya World for the championship on Dynamite. Whoever wins the match will likely walk into All In London as the champion.
Also on the August 12 Dynamite, MJF won a 3-way match to earn the number two spot in the Casino Gauntlet match. Andrade El Idolo already earned the number one spot, meaning that they will start the match together. While not announced, it is likely that fans will hear from MJF on the next episode of the show.
This will also be the final episode of Dynamite to take place in the United States before All In. The August 26 Dynamite will take place in Glasgow, Scotland as the go-home show before Wembley Stadium.
