A massive face-to-face, major implications for WrestleMania 40 and more have been announced for WWE SmackDown.
With The Rock appearing on the March 15th episode of SmackDown, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will appear live on the blue brand to continue the build to their WrestleMania clash. Once again, Rhodes and Reigns are scheduled to meet face-to-face on the show.
Also on the March 15th episode, The New Catch Republic and Legado Del Fantasma advanced in the WrestleMania 40 Tag Team Championship tournament. Two more matches will take place on SmackDown to see which teams will advance.
The Following Matches & Segments Have Been Announced For WWE SmackDown:
- Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes to meet face-to-face
- Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Austin Theory & Grayson Waller – The winners will advance in the WrestleMania 40 Tag Team Ladder match tournament
- Authors of Pain vs. The Street Profits – The winners will advance in the WrestleMania 40 Tag Team Ladder match tournament
- Rey Mysterio vs. Santos Escobar
