MJF returns to action and more on AEW Dynamite.
Following on from his return at Double or Nothing, MJF has confronted Rush on a number of occasions. On the June 12th episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF and Rush brawled around the arena before being eventually separated. It was later announced that MJF would have his first match in 2024 against Rush and that it would open the show without commercials.
Also in the June 12th Dynamite, World Champion Swerve Strickland was confronted by The Elite before The Acclaimed made the save from a potential beatdown. The Young Bucks will face off against The Acclaimed in a title eliminator match on Dynamite, which will see The Acclaimed granted a future title match if they are victorious. Additionally, Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada will be in action with the opponent still to be determined.

- MJF vs. Rush opens the show and will be commercial free
- AEW Tag Team title eliminator: The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson) vs. The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens)
- AEW Continental Title Eliminator: Kazuchika Okada vs. TBA
- Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa contract signing
- Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly, Orange Cassidy, and Dante Martin vs. Roderick Strong, Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita, and Zack Sabre Jr.
- Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay to meet face-to-face ahead of their match at Forbidden Door.
