Multiple title matches and more took place on AEW Dynamite.
Absent from Dynamite the previous week, International Champion Will Ospreay made his return to TV and put the title on the line against Rey Fenix ahead of his opportunity against AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland at Forbidden Door. Additionally, TBS Champion Mercedes Mone was in action as she put the title on the line against Zeuxis to continue her own momentum to AEW Forbidden Door.
The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:
- Swerve Strickland opened the show and addressed Will Ospreay and their upcoming match at Forbidden Door. Strickland put over Ospreay before being interrupted by The Elite. Nick Jackson teased the return of Blood and Guts before The Elite confronted Strickland in the ring and made an offer to join them in the Blood and Guts match, which Strickland refused. The Acclaimed came to back up Strickland which was broken up when Christopher Daniels ordered everyone out of the ring.
- Jack Perry defeated Dustin Rhodes to advance to the TNT ladder match at Forbidden Door.
- Rush defeated an enhancement talent before MJF arrived and beat up Rush
- Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita and Roderick Strong defeated Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly and Orange Cassidy. Willow Nightingale attempted to make the save after the match but was beaten up by Kris Statlander
- Hook and Samoa Joe defeated The Premier Athletes
- Mercedes Moné defeated Zeuxis to retain the TBS Championship
- Chris Jericho hosted TV time with Private Party
- Daniel Garcia defeated Nick Comoroto
- Will Ospreay defeated Rey Fenix to retain the International Championship. Ospreay was confronted by Strickland after the bell
