Leon Slater will have the opportunity to win back the X-Division Championship at TNA Slammiversary.
On the May 28 Impact, Slater was announced as the first challenger in the Ultimate X match, which will take place at the upcoming Premium Live Event on June 28. Slater is a former X-Division Champion and held the title for 298 days.
On the May 14 Impact, it was announced that the popular Ultimate X stipulation would be making its return at Slammiversary. During the same show, Slater lost his X-Division Championship to Cedric Alexander, who remains the champion at the time of writing. No other competitors have been confirmed for the match at this time.
All TNA championships are set to be defended at Slammiversary, but these have not been confirmed. A ladder match is also scheduled for the upcoming show, which will air live from Boston.
Leon Slater Looking To Win Another Championship At TNA Slammiversary
Slater is coming off a big win at RevPro’s Revolution Rumble, which saw him and Liam Slater defeat Young Guns [Ethan Allen and Luke Jacobs], to capture the Undisputed British Tag Team Championships. Slater also held the Undisputed British Cruiserweight Championship in the promotion.
As part of the ongoing relationship between TNA and WWE, Slater has also made multiple appearances on WWE main roster TV. Along with a match at the December 2025 Saturday Night’s Main Event, Slater also faced Carmelo Hayes on the January 9 SmackDown, which aired live from Wembley Arena in London.
