Julia Hart wins her first-ever championship at AEW Full Gear.
At the recent pay-per-view, Hart defeated former champion Kris Statlander and Skye Blue in a triple threat match to capture her first AEW title and become only the third person to hold the championship in the process.
The match itself saw Blue and Hart frequently target Statlander, wanting to settle things one on one. Just as it looked like Hart had the match won earlier, Statlander dragged Hart out of the ring.
The closing moments of the match saw Statlander hit Saturday Night Fever, but Hart dragged Statlander off to pin Blue to win the match and become the new champion.
This was the second title change to take place on the show as Toni Storm won the AEW Women’s Championship earlier in the night.
