Will Ospreay is the newest member of the AEW roster.
As seen at Full Gear, Ospreay was revealed to be Tony Khan’s big AEW signing. The lights went dark and the opening chords of “Elevated” hit, bringing the Los Angeles crowd alive as they knew what that meant. The cheers got louder as Ospreay made his way to the ring.
Officially signing with AEW, Ospreay is set to finish up his commitments with New Japan in the next few weeks, as he is already announced for a match at Wrestle Kingdom 18. Ospreay stated that he is not coming to AEW full time just yet as he needs to finish up the remainder of his contract and will be a part of the company around Revolution 2024.
Will Ospreay Makes Latest AEW Appearance
Ospreay has made multiple previous appearances for AEW including Forbidden Door 2022 and 2023 and a victory over Chris Jericho at All In. The former NJPW star joined the company full time shortly before Revolution and defeated Konosuke Takeshita in his debut match as a permanent member of the roster. From then, the British star had won the International Championship twice and defeated MJF at the second All In show.
