John Cena will make his NXT debut on October 10th.
In a surprising announcement by WWE, the 16-time World Champion will be making an appearance on the Tuesday night show to be in the corner of Carmelo Hayes.
Following Hayes losing the NXT Championship to Trick Williams, Bron Breakker wasted no time in rubbing salt into the wounds. Mocking Hayes for losing the title, Hayes revealed later on the show that he requested a match against Breakker on the October 10th episode and would have backup from the greatest of all time.
Breakker will also have someone in his corner for his match against Hayes, Paul Heyman.
The line-up for the October 10th WWE NXT is as follows:
- Carmelo Hayes (W/ John Cena) vs. Bron Breakker (W/ Paul Heyman)
- Roxanne Perez vs. Asuka
- Cody Rhodes to make an announcement
