The Judgment Day are draped in gold once again.
As seen on the October 3rd episode of NXT, Dominik Mysterio defeated Trick Williams to win back the North American Championship.
The Judgement Day were at ringside for the title match, whereas Carmelo Hayes did not come to ringside for Williams’ first defence.
Once again The Judgment Day heavily played into the match and were crucial in Mysterio winning the title back. Ripley would slide her Women’s Championship into the ring and distract the referee, allowing Dom Dom to hit a DDT onto the title. Williams would kick out as Mysterio slid the title out.
More interference followed as JD McDonagh ran into the ring while the referee was distracted, with Mysterio trying to use Damian Priest’s Money in the Bank briefcase. Balor struck Williams with the title while the referee was distracted once again, allowing Mysterio to hit a Frog Splash and win the title for the second time.
The victory by Mysterio ends Williams’s title reign at only 4 days, as Williams defeated Mysterio at No Mercy to win the title for the first time in his career.
