John Cena has made it clear that he doesn’t care about the fans voicing their opinion on R-Truth’s WWE exit.

On June 1st, R-Truth let the fans know that he would be leaving WWE imminently as his contract would not be renewed when it expired. With the 54-time 24/7 Champion being very popular both with the fans and the locker room, the wrestling world was in shock when the news was announced.

Over the past week, “We want Truth” chants have been heard on Raw, NXT and SmackDown as the fans have made it clear that they are not happy with the company decision. Hearing the chants on the June 6th episode of SmackDown, Cena gave the fans his thoughts on the matter.

Grabbing the microphone, Cena yelled “You can’t handle the truth” before continuing to criticise the crowd and remind them that no one would be able to stop Cena’s mission of ruining wrestling. Cena also called the fans “pathetic liars” as the “We want Truth” chants resumed.

Following the news of the release, an update on what’s next for R-Truth has been provided.
