WWE King And Queen Of The Ring Details Announced

WWE King and Queen of the Ring will be returning later in the year as details have been announced regarding the tournament.

During the June 6th episode of WWE SmackDown, a video package aired with Raw and SmackDown General Managers Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis confirming the popular tournament would be returning in 2025. The finals will take place on June 28th at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia and the winners of each tournament will once again receive a title match against the top champion of their brand at SummerSlam in August.

The bracket later flashed up on screen to confirm the format, which will see 4-way matches take place in the first round, followed by the semi-finals and finals. While the full list of entrants has not been announced, Jade Cargill appeared in a backstage segment later in the show and stated she would be one of the participants. Cargill was interrupted by Charlotte Flair, who also vowed to live up to her moniker of The Queen.

Who Won WWE King And Queen Of The Ring In 2024?

Last year’s tournaments were won by Gunther and Nia Jax. Both were successful in their title matches at SummerSlam as Gunther defeated Damian Priest and Nia Jax defeated Bayley to each win the top championships on their respective brands.
