John Cena Declares For WWE Royal Rumble

John Cena has made his intentions clear for 2025.

Appearing live on the Raw on Netflix premiere, Cena officially kicked off his retirement tour that will culminate at the end of the year. Stating that the Netflix premiere would be his last time in Los Angeles as a Superstar, Cena spoke about his upcoming events at Elimination Chamber, Money in the Bank and WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. With Cena making it clear that WrestleMania 41 will be his final Mania as an in-ring competitor, the 16-time World Champion is looking to headline the event one more time and make history.

Referencing the Royal Rumble on February 1st in Indianapolis, Indiana, Cena officially entered himself into the match promised that he would be the last man standing, advance to WrestleMania and win that all important 17th WWE Championship which would be a record achievement in the company. According to WWE’s records, Cena is currently tied with Ric Flair with 16 World Titles.

John Cena Looks To Win Third Royal Rumble

Previously victorious in 2008 and 2013, Cena is looking to tie Steve Austin with 3 Royal Rumble victories in February 2025. With highs and lows in the match throughout his career, John Cena has had a memorable run in the Royal Rumble match over the course of his career.
