Jade Cargill has looked back on one of her biggest WWE victories of the year, and has admitted that she wanted to take things to a whole new level of brutality!
After being attacked at the end of 2024, Cargill made her return at Elimination Chamber the following year to get revenge on the woman responsible, Naomi. Following a standard match between the two at WrestleMania 41, which saw Cargill pick up the victory, the former best friends collided for a second time at Evolution, this time in a no holds barred match with Bianca Belair as the special guest referee.
With Naomi now a heel and showing her more violent side, there was an expectation that things were going to get ugly as weapons were allowed. However, according to Cargill, both were prepared to be a lot more dangerous.
Speaking with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, the former Women’s Tag Team Champion stated that they wanted to use mace and razors, but were told by the powers that be that it wasn’t going to happen:
‘There was so much we wanted to use that was asked,’ she laughed. ‘We wanted to use mace, that was going to be tough. And then we wanted to use razors, and that was going to be tough, but I welcome it!’

Continuing, Cargill noted that while she wanted to use mace in the match, there was a high chance that someone in the crowd could have also been caught in the crossfire:
‘I wish we were able to use the mace. [But] we gotta think about the crowd, we don’t want anybody in the crowd to be maced, because mace goes so far,’ she added.
‘I love interacting with the crowd,’ she smiled. ‘One, you get your money’s worth. But two, it’s that moment that people bring back with them, and they forever talk about it.’
Cargill challenged Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship back at SummerSlam, but was unsuccessful in her first title match. As has been seen on SmackDown over the past few weeks, it appears that Cargill may receive another opportunity soon.
