Jade Cargill could be set to face a formidable foe at this year’s SummerSlam in Minnesota.
As reported by WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, a match between Cargill and Charlotte Flair has been pitched internally for the upcoming Premium Live Event. It is also noted that one point this match was pencilled in for the show.
Sources have also indicated that they were waiting for the right time and place for this first-time-ever match, and SummerSlam feels like the optimal location. Cargill and Flair have crossed paths multiple times in recent weeks. With Cargill, Michin and B-Fab targeting Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley in the past few weeks, Ripley found allies in Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. The duo have helped Ripley multiple times, with Flair being integral in Ripley retaining the title at Clash in Italy.
Jade Cargill Hoping For Big Win At SummerSlam
Cargill made her SummerSlam debut in 2025. After winning the Queen of the Ring tournament earlier in the year, Cargill earned an opportunity at the then Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. While Cargill was unable to gt the job done at the show, she did defeat Stratton later in the year to win her first Women’s Championship. Cagill held the gold until WrestleMania 42, where she dropped the title to Rhea Ripley.
