First WWE Speed Women’s Champion Crowned [Spoiler]

The inaugural WWE Speed Women’s Championship Tournament has come to a conclusion.

The tournament which airs on social media platform X each Wednesday sees competitors face off in matches with a 3-mintue time limit. With the first ever Men’s Speed Champion crowned earlier in the year, the finals of the women’s tournament took place after the October 4th episode of WWE SmackDown went off the air. As reported by those in attendance, Candice LeRae defeated Iyo Sky to become the first ever Women’s Speed Champion.

Sky defeated Lyra Valkyria in the opening round followed by Naomi to advance to the final while LeRae defeated Piper Niven and Kairi Sane to advance to the final. The final match will air at a later date.

Who Was The First Ever Men’s WWE Speed Champion?

On May 3rd, the finals of the inaugural men’s tournament took place, and Ricochet defeated Johnny Gargano in the final to become the first-ever champion. On June 14th, Andrade defeated Ricochet to become the new champion and continues to hold the title to this day. The reason for the sudden title change was that Ricochet left WWE shortly afterwards.

In other championship news, a current champion in WWE has broken an all-time record.
