WWE Bad Blood begins to take shape.
With the event being the 28th anniversary of the first Hell in a Cell match, many expected a Cell match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre to be confirmed. Looking to end their rivalry, the two will meet inside the steel structure.
Additionally, The Terror Twins will each be looking for payback once more as Rhea Ripley challenges Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship and Damian Priest takes on Finn Balor. Priest and Ripley were victorious at Bash in Berlin against Morgan and Dominik Mysterio and are looking for a repeat result in Atlanta.
An unlikely alliance has also formed as Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will team up to face The Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu and defacto leader Solo Sikoa.
On the September 20th episode of SmackDown, Bayley and Naomi pinned Nia Jax simultaneously. A match between Bayley and Naomi has been announced for the September 27th SmackDown, where the winner will challenge Jax for the title at Bad Blood.

- Nia Jax (c) vs. Bayley Singles match for the WWE Women’s Championship
