Two title matches are now official for the May 2026 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event special.
The championship matches were announced on the May 11 episode of Raw, which focused on the fallout from Backlash the previous week. Intercontinental Champion Penta called out Ethan Page, stating that if Page wanted a title match, then he should say it to his face. While it appeared that Penta was ready to defend the title on Raw, Page rejected the challenge. Instead, Page offered to face Penta at Saturday Night’s Main Event, which Penta accepted.
Also on the May 11 Raw, The Street Profits and Joe Hendry picked up a win over The Vision in the opening match of the show. It was later confirmed that World Tag Team Champions Austin Theory and Logan Paul would put their titles on the line against The Profits.
May 2026 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Line-Up:
- Penta (c) vs. Ethan Page – Singles match for the Intercontinental Championship
- The Vision [Austin Theory and Logan Paul] (c) vs. The Street Profits [Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins] – Tag team match for the World Tag Team Championships
The next WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will air live on May 23. The special will air on Peacock in the United States and on YouTube internationally.
